Before embarking on your volunteer journey with Sar-El Israel, please take note of the following important information:

  • Ensure you have a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond your planned stay.
  • Check visa requirements based on your nationality.
  • Familiarize yourself with local customs and cultural norms.
  • Pack appropriate clothing for both work and leisure.
  • Bring any necessary medications and a basic first-aid kit.
  • Be prepared for potentially challenging emotional and physical conditions.

Important Registration Information

In order to participate in the Sar-El volunteer experience, there are two mandatory stages that must be completed to further the registration process:

The application process can take up to 6 to 8 weeks, so your patience is greatly appreciated. Health and travel insurance that covers your stay in the program is mandatory.

Note: Do not buy an airline ticket until you have received confirmation of acceptance into the program.
